Intro to Screenprinting | Ages 12+

Screen printing has been used for over 100 years in both the commercial industry for printing images and designs onto clothing and in the artistic sector to bring creative designs to life. Essentially the process of transferring a design on to a plain piece of fabric or paper with screens and ink, we’ll learn the process, techniques, and bring our own designs to life.

This workshop meets twice on April 4 & 11.

Michael Koziczkowski | Art Educator

Mikey Koziczkowski is a mixed-media artist who uses screen printing as a way of combining his painting, drawing, and photography work. This allows him to combine certain mediums that otherwise would not cooperate in a direct, physical application.

Mikey’s work explores a range of realism to abstraction while using touches of surrealism and color manipulation to create various emotions and dream-like landscapes.

Mikey was a 2023 Artist in Residence at the Trout Museum of Art.
