The Trout Museum of Art’s first-floor gallery features Illuminating Women, an exhibition highlighting the diverse stories of 30 women from the Appleton area, promoting empathy and inspiring a sense of belonging.

Complementing this showcase, local female high school art students create artworks based on an influential woman in their life accompanied by a biographical narrative on why their subject inspires them. Each student’s piece reflects the personal significance of their influential woman. The exhibition will be on view Jan 12 – May 12.
