Remembering Dr. Monroe E. Trout

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear friend and benefactor, Dr. Monroe E. Trout (1931 – 2024). He was not only a generous supporter but also an important member of our community whose impact reverberated far beyond the bounds of the Trout Museum of Art.
Dr. Trout played a crucial role in our mission, demonstrating unwavering dedication and passion for the visual arts. His philanthropic spirit and commitment to bettering our community have left an indelible mark on the museum and art education, and we are profoundly grateful for the positive changes he brought about.
