Drawing Horses | Ages 12+
Join us for a drawing workshop where you’ll learn to capture the beauty and movement of horses. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, this class will teach you essential techniques to draw horses with accuracy and expression.
In this workshop, you will:
- Learn the basics of horse anatomy and proportions
- Practice sketching dynamic poses and capturing movement
- Explore shading and texture techniques to add depth to your drawings
- Receive personalized tips and feedback throughout the class
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more confident in your ability to draw horses and bring their energy to life on paper. All materials are provided, and beginners are welcome!

Ray Fehrenbach | Art Educator
Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ray Fehrenbach attended UW – Green Bay & UW – Oshkosh where his field of study was the fine arts. His main focus being classical drawing & printmaking.
For 10 years he worked inside the comic book industry, working full time as the Art Director for Kitchen Sink Press, where he worked with artists such as Will Ebner (Spirit), Harvey Kurtzman (Mad Magazine / Playboy), Milton Caniff (Steve Canyon), Mark Schultz (3 Time Best Artist), Kevin Eastman (Ninja Turtles), Pete Poplaski, Denis Kitchen, and Charles Burns.
His Freelance client list includes, Dark Horse, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Fantagraphic Books, Eclipse Comics, & CPM LTD. Currently, he has focused on his freelance career, displaying his drawing and paintings throughout Wisconsin.
