After-School Art Class | Ages 6-12 (3 Days)
This class offers in-depth art instruction led by experienced art instructor Tracey Ellenberg. With small class sizes, students receive personalized attention in a supportive, encouraging environment. The goal is to nurture creative, confident young artists while developing the technical skills necessary to create art independently, both in and outside of class.
Guided Independent Art (30 minutes):
Students will explore and create independently with a variety of mediums (painting, drawing, papercraft, sculpture). This time allows for self-expression and artistic exploration while fostering a sense of community in a collaborative setting.
Core Art Lesson (1 hour):
Each class includes a lesson on technique, or a hands-on demonstration of a new medium. Afterward, students will apply their learning through a creative project using the medium or technique explored that day.
Spring Art Topics – Celebrating New Growth and Renewal:
3-D Paper Sculpture
